I come from a humble background where my parents, both hardworking farmers, only completed elementary school. They raised me and my eight siblings with strong values and a commitment to education, believing that it would be our pathway to a better life.

Despite the challenges, I graduated from university and worked in a bank for six months before seeking opportunities abroad. I moved to Taiwan as a factory worker, dreaming of building a house for my parents. However, my aspirations didn’t stop there; I longed to come to Canada, believing it would be the key to fulfilling my dreams for my family.

On December 8, 2008, I arrived with hope and determination, starting as a full-time sandwich artist at Subway restaurant. Crafting delicious sandwiches for customers taught me the value of attention to detail and customer satisfaction. I soon transitioned to a support care aide in a group home to double my income.

While juggling multiple jobs, I realized I was sacrificing my health and time with my family. As a mother of three children is not easy, especially with shifting schedules. Working the night shift was particularly challenging for me. I often found myself getting only two hours of sleep for six consecutive days, especially with a little one at home. I could only sleep when the baby slept, but that was rare, as being a mom involves numerous chores. Working six night shifts a week left me exhausted. I knew I needed a change. It was time to shift my career and focus.

In 2014, I discovered Greatway and immediately signed up. Within three months, I obtained my license and began my new career. When I started in the financial industry, I was looking for a way to provide better for my family. Little did I know that I was stepping into an opportunity that would empower not just me, but also countless others. I’ve been able to achieve financial stability, enjoy more quality time with my loved ones, and help others do the same! I’ve seen friends and family members transform their lives, gain confidence, and build a secure financial future.

Thanks to Greatway, in 2015, we opened our first business—a Filipino store in North Battleford. I was blessed to retire from my full-time job. This transition allowed me to spend more time with my family while still earning a substantial income—more than I ever made before. Thanks to this amazing opportunity, I now have the flexibility to spend quality time with my kids, participate actively in our church, and give back to the community. It’s a blessing to be able to balance work and family life, all while making a positive impact.

Greatway has opened doors for me that I never thought possible. I am excited to be part of a mission that helps Canadians achieve their financial goals, while also nurturing my own family life.
